Why This Reference Exists
Printed Chandler directories faded from regular publication, but many of their source trails remain. Property ownership is divided between the Maricopa County Assessor and Recorder. Voter information follows Arizona access law. Historical volumes are found through the Arizona Memory Project, library, museum, and archival collections. A person tracing a current owner or an older household may otherwise have to work through several unrelated offices and portals. We organize verified search tools, custodian contacts, known coverage, fees, and access limits as one Chandler-focused starting point.
What the Directory Contains
- Distinct search paths: the street directory for address-keyed sources, the city directory for historical volumes, and the resident lookup for one-person research
- Named custodians: the Assessor, Recorder, Elections office, court clerks, vital registration, and historical repositories
- Practical methods: ways to trace a street, interpret a printed entry, and follow a Chandler household across dated records
- Arizona access limits: what is open, what remains restricted, and which office accepts a precise public-records request
Limits of Our Role
We are a privately operated reference site, not part of the City of Chandler, Maricopa County, the State of Arizona, any court, records office, archive, or library. These limits apply:
- We cannot verify that a named person now lives in Chandler
- We do not retrieve, certify, amend, or interpret official records for users
- We cannot place a person on, or delete a person from, a government roll or database
- We do not provide legal advice about records, privacy, ownership, or disputes
- We cannot guarantee that every link, office detail, fee, or coverage statement remains current
The responsible custodian alone can confirm, certify, or correct its record. Information found through this site cannot be used for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or other FCRA-regulated decisions.
